Janis "J.K." Stevens

Janis "J.K." Stevens, 61, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at her residence. She was born March 19, 1953, in Poplar Bluff to Robert Hawthorne and Ruby (Barriner) Hodapp. Both preceded her in death. She was of the Baptist faith, and worked as an administration clerk for Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Survivors include two sisters, Evelyn Taylor and husband, Bud and Marilyn Page; two brothers, Robert Hawthorne and Carl Rosell; one niece, Terri Taylor Woods and husband, Terry; three nephews, Tommy Taylor and wife, Carolyn, David Page and Brandon Page; as well as seven great-nieces and nephews, John David Page, Brice, Haleigh, Zack, Rachael, Ryan, and Sarah Beth Taylor. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by funeral services at 12 noon. The Rev. Jim Osborn will officiate. Burial will be in the City Cemetery.
