Jenice Putman

Jenice Putman, 70, of Doniphan died Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Putman was born June 11, 1945 in Neelyville, Mo. She was a lifetime resident of Ripley County and enjoyed fishing, sewing, and loved her grandchildren. She retired from Vitronic and was of the Baptist faith. On May 20, 1995 she married Raymond Putman in Oxly, Mo. He survives. Also surviving are children, Donnie Skiles and Jordan Ray Putman Skiles; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and 1 niece, Brenda McComb. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Skiles, parents, James Luther Grimes and Gladys (Jenkins) Grimes; twin sisters, Bernice Cates and Elizabeth Dawes, as well as two other sisters, Ruth Kessler and Francis Murray; and 1 brother, Bud Grimes. Visitation will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. A graveside services will follow at 1:15 p.m. at the Antioch Cemetery in Oxly with Donnie Fowler officiating.
