Jerry Mcgill

Jerry Lynn McGill, 83, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on December 19, 2024, at his home in Poplar Bluff. Jerry was born on January 3, 1941, to Charlie and Emily E. (Swinney) McGill in Dunklin County, Missouri.  He married Lola E. Moncier on June 28, 1986, in Poplar Bluff. Jerry served his country in the United States Army from 1960-1966.  He loved his family. Jerry is survived by wife, Lola McGill, children, Michael Stone, Jerry Joe McGill, grandchildren Kayla Stone, Cody McGill, Breanna McGill, great grandchildren, Briar McGill, Camden McGill, Israel McGill, siblings, Bill McGill, Dora Mae Thacker and Belinda Lauer. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Ricky McGill, Ray McGill and sister; Lawanda. Visitation will be held on December 23,2024, from 11am to 12pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff, MO Funeral services will begin at noon in the chapel. Burial will take place at City Cemetery, with full military honors.  A drive by at the Veterans Hospital will take place on the way to the cemetery.
