Jerry L. Talley

Jerry Lee Talley of Poplar Bluff, Mo passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, at the age of 77. Jerry was born November 15, 1940 to the late Jake and Hazel Talley of Des Arc, Mo. Jerry graduated from Des Arc High School in 1958. He retired from General Motors after many years of service. He attended the Palace of Praise church in Poplar Bluff, Mo. In 1972 he was united in marriage to Loretta Wood. She preceded him in death in 1992. On June 5, 1993 Jerry was united in marriage to Suedell Lashley. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Suedell, his son Russ (Jennifer) Talley of Wentzville,Mo, son Jon Talley of Montgomery City, Mo, stepdaughter Paula (Allen) Gallamore of Poplar Bluff, Mo and stepson Kevin (Susan) Lashley. two sisters; Alice (Vernon) Sutton of Poplar Bluff, Mo, Paula (Denny) Berry of Arnold, Mo.; grandchildren; Rebecca Talley, Audrey Talley, Christian Gallamore, Van Gallamore, Nichkolas Gallamore, Justin (Emily) Lashley and many other family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Jim Talley, a sister Veta Mae Powers. Jerry was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will always hold a special place in all our hearts. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 2,2018 10 am at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Service will follow at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Everyone will meet at Shepherd of Hills Cemetery 1925 Old Hwy M Barnhart, MO at 3 pm for internment.
