Jesse Chaffin

Jesse C. Chaffin, 57, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at his home. Mr. Chaffin was born to Jesse C. and Wanda Louise Chaffin February 1, 1958 in Poe Clinic, Mo. He had worked in construction and carpet sales for Dennis Young. He enjoyed flying, fishing, collecting arrowheads, flea marketing, yard-work and working in the garage. On July 4, 1999 he married Amanda (Dietz) Chaffin in Poplar Bluff. She survives. Other survivors include children, Jesse B. Chaffin, Jennifer Duckett, Amber Harwell and Stephanie DeClue; his sister, Sharon Brady; 12 grandchildren, Jessie C. Chaffin, Jessaleigh Chaffin, Billie, Maddison, and Devon Hussman, Elliott Guzman, Kaitlyn LaChance, Spencer and Gracie Harwell, Kerstein, Jocelyn and Adeline DeClue. He was a loving husband. He raised a son and three daughters, and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015, in the chapel, with Rev. John Sprouse officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
