Jewell Morris

Jewell Louise Morris, 83, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday, January, 19, 2015 at her home. She was born January 28, 1931, in Deering, Mo., to the late Regie B. Graham and Mamye Lorene (Sakers) Graham. She was a homemaker and had worked as a beautician. She enjoyed watching television and talking on the phone. On September 2, 1949, she married Glen D. Owen. On January 6, 1979, she married Ernest (Jack) Morris. He preceded her in death April 8, 2001. Survivors include her sons, Glen Dewayne Owen and Dave Edward Owen; two step-daughters, Tina Patty and Debbie Pruett; a sister, Berlina Green; two brothers, Charles Graham and Joe Graham, as well as her grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, R.B. Graham and Alvin Graham; and step-daughter, Suzy Wilson. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m., at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, with the Rev. Richard Hockersmith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
