Jimmie D. Crawford of Poplar Bluff, passed away at his home on October 3, 2011, at the age of 59.
Mr. Crawford was born December 24, 1951 in Campbell, Missouri to parents, Othor and Frances ( Downing) Crawford. Both preceded him in death.
He was a truck driver for Olson Packaging in Dexter. He had attended Southeast Missouri Trucking School in Malden, Mo.
Mr. Crawford also attended Christian Family Fellowship. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of AMVETS and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing and reading.
Surviving are special friends, Roxanna Salamone and Nikki and Joe Salamone; one daughter, Tori and several grandchildren; two sisters, Barb Like and Brenda Madden, both of St. Louis, Mo., and a brother, Bill Crawford of St Louis, Mo.
Visiation at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011 in the chapel. Burial in the Mo. State Veterans Cemetery, Bloomfield, Mo. Officiated by Rev. Kevin McAnulty.
