Joe Junior DePriest, 81, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of St. Louis, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at his home.
Mr. DePriest was born September 19, 1935 in Dyersburg, Tn. He was a member of Southside Assembly of God and loved doing art work. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from United Tech Windshield.
He is survived by his nieces, Linda Y. Smith (Richard C.), Helen Maness (James W.), and Rose Thomas (Bud) and his church family at Southside Assembly of God.
His parents, Jessie and Rosie (Fair) DePriest preceded him in death, as well as a brother, Floyd B. DePriest Sr. and nephew, Floyd B. DePriest Jr.
A visitation will be held at 12 (noon) Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by a graveside service and interment at 1 p.m. in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with full military honors. Pastor Jerry Lemons will officiate.
