Joe Lee Woolard

Joe Lee Woolard, 84, of Naylor, MO., passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Woolard was born on December 15, 1932 in Naylor, Mo. He was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming and his boat. He was also a member of the Naylor Church of Christ where he served as treasurer. On May 7, 1953 Joe married Zuna White in Pocahontas, Ark. She survives. Also surviving are his two sons, Don Woolard and wife Alice of Neelyville, Gary Woolard and wife Alisa of Naylor; sister-in-laws, Betty Woolard of Grand Junction, CO., Genevive Porter of Naylor, Mo. and Emmie Deterding of St. Louis, Mo.; special niece, Linda; special nephew, Glen; grandchildren, Brian, Nick, Whitney, Floyd, Colton, Kathryn, Matt and Rachel Eubanks, Jason and Callie Tidwell, Brier Mullins and Pat and Matt Ryan.; as well as several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.B. Pete Woolard and Mildred Pauline Camp Woolard; sisters, Lillian Clark and Imogene Gilliland; brother, Harold Ray Woolard and brother-in-law, Phillip Gilliland, and one granddaughter; Jill Tidwell. Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Sullivan-Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Chapel with Rick Holden officiating. Burial will be in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery.
