John Quincy Adams, 61, of Naylor, Mo. passed away December 6, 2012 in the University Hospital at Columbia, Mo. He was born November 17, 1951 at Flint, Michigan, to John Quincy Adams and the late Sarah Louise (Hughes) Adams.
John is survived by two children, John Victor Adams of Hallsville, Missouri and Theresa Marie Felton of Seoul, South Korea. His father John Quincy Adams, and three brothers, Richard Adams of Sikeston, Missouri, Robert Adams of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Jimmy Adams of Naylor, Mo. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Joel Michael Adams, Charles Frederick and Robyn Frederick all of Hallsville, Missouri.
John was carpenter and had a degree in architectural drafting and design. He enjoyed trapping, camping, and politics. He was a member of the Centralia Missouri Masonic Lodge and Three Rivers Shine Club. John was also a member of the Fellowship General Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Visitation for Mr. Adams will be Saturday December 15, 2012 starting at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral following at 12:00 p.m. in the Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Mo. with Pastor Byron Beck officiating.
