Johnnie L. Proctor Sr

Johnnie Laverne Proctor Sr. , 64, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at Poplar Bluff. Mr. Proctor was born December 13, 1945, at Oaklawn, Ill. He was of the Southern Baptist faith. He was a vetern of the U.S. Navy and a truck driver. He enjoyed collecting die cast cars and car racing. Surviving are his children, Johnnie L. Proctor, Jr. of Joliet, Ill., Chad M. Proctor of Winthrop Harbor, Ill., Misty Baker and Theresa Chalfant, both of Poplar Bluff, Mo. ; Maurajeah O'Neil of Boston, Mass.; one brother, Marvin Proctor of Rockford, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2010 followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. at the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo.
