Joseph Wayne Riley

Joseph (Joey) Wayne Riley, 77, of St. Charles, MO departed this life on December 1st, 2024. He was born September 6, 1947 to the late Eula Fern Stephens in Poplar Bluff, MO. Joey worked at Boeing Aircraft until his retirement. After retirement, he enjoyed going to the local casino and taking care of his animals. He also liked staying at home working on his puzzles, cryptoquotes, word puzzles etc. He played Wordle every day with us, placing it on our text chain. Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Fern Stephens and Stepfather, Leonard Stephens. Joey is survived by his sister, Sherry Carpenter (Dale), his brother, Steven Stephens (Donna), and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will begin at 11am December 9, 2024, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff. Graveside services will begin at noon at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with full military honors and Scott Stephens officiating.
