Joyce Evelyn Acup

Joyce Evelyn Acup, 73, of Greenville, formely of Poplar Bluff passed away on Tuesday Sept.12, 2017 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau Mo. She was born Nov. 28, 1943 in St.Louis Mo. to the late Clarence and Nina Lorene Spink. She retired as a nurses aide from Doctors and Lucy Lee Hospitals, after many years of service . To her work friends she was known as Sam as they had kindly nicknamed her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and her grandson Joshua (who she loved more than anything.) Surviving is her daughter Kellie Darnell and husband Darryl, one sister Janet Brinkley and husband David. Also surviving is a very special niece Danielle McDowell and a very special nephew Mitchell McDowell. Many other nieces and nephews also survive. She was also preceded in death by a sister Pat Spink, two brothers Harold and Jerry Spink. At her request no services are planned.
