Joyce Carol Cain, 69, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., entered into rest Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Westwood Hills Health Care Center.
She was born December 31, 1947, in New Mexico, to the late Charles and Myrtle Curtis.
She loved reading, bird watching, drawing and coloring with the grandchildren. She also enjoyed making donations to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
In 2009, she married Charles Cain in Poplar Bluff. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Janice Stevoff (David), Teri Tornabeni (Josh); two stepchildren, Tara Marie Santaitc and Charles Timothy Cain; two grandchildren, Josh Tornabeni Jr. and Keri Ann Santaitic; and a brother, Bill Curtis.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Dan Curtis.
A memorial prayer service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.
