Joyce Warren Cannaday Majors, 69, of Harviell, Mo. passed away Tuesday August 13, 2013 at her residence. She was born February 2, 1944 at Lavalle, Missouri to the late Wallace W. Warren and Nellie Dorothy Deitz Warren.
On March 26, 1961, at Poplar Bluff, Missouri She was married to Von Cannaday. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1982.
She is survivied by her children Lisa Thomas and husband Darwin of Doniphan, Missouri and Kim Barron and husband Steve of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Brothers, Ulysses E. Warren and wife Donna of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Terry W. Warren and Karen of Neelyville, Missouri. Three Grandchildren, Garrett Thomas, Casie Pyle and Meagan Barron as well as three great-grandchildren, Piper Pyle, tyler Thomas and Hunter Thomas.
Joyce had been a nurse and worked at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and flowers. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Harviell, Missouri.
Visitation will be Friday August 16, 2013 starting 11'00 a.m. with the funeral following at 1:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Kinsey Cemetery following services.
