Joyce " Ticka" Lawson

Joyce Ann Lawson, 59, of Neelyville, Mo. died Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Mrs. Lawson was born November 24, 1955 in Neelyville, Mo. She worked as a cook for Taylor’s Stateline Truck Stop and enjoyed crossword puzzles, and music. She was a lifelong resident of the area. On June 29, 2011 she married Bobby Lawson in Corning, AR. He Survives. Also surviving is her son; Jacob Lawson of Mosley, AL.; one step-son, Bobby Lawson Jr. of Taylorville, IL.; her mother, Geneva Grimes Crossen of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 3 sisters, Diane Julian of St. Clair Shores, MI., Carolyn Shreve of Neelyville, Mo., Genna Baccus of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 2 brothers, Art Crossen of O’Fallon, Mo., and Bob Crossen of Neelyville, Mo.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is her father, Doyle Crossen; and one brother, Mike Crossen. A memorial visitation will be held, Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Mo.
