Julie Mae Russell

Julie Mae Russell, 79 of Poplar Bluff was called home November 23, 2010. Visitation will begin at 10AM Friday the 26th at Bays Spring Church off M Hwy. Funeral service will follow at 11AM Friday with Elder Cletus Powell officiating. Burial will be at Bays Spring Cemetery. Mrs. Russell was born July 4, 1931 to the late Fielen and Virgie Medley Johnson. She was a member of Bays Spring Missionary Baptist Church. September 30, 1950 she married the late James Russell in Piggott Arkansas. They had seven children: Shirley Russell, Peggy Daughheter, Phyllis Ford(Larry), Judy Smith(Kyle), all of Poplar Bluff. John Russell(Judy), Edward Russell ( Rita) of Poplar Bluff and Don Russell (Leslie) of Roff Oklahoma. Two sisters; Kathy Johnson and Pansy Spencer of Poplar Bluff. Three brothers; Jack Johnson of Poplar Bluff, Jerry Johnson (Jo Ann) of Grandin; and Jim Johnson (Donna) of Shreveport, LA; and one sister-in-law Thelma Russell Wilcutt of Poplar Bluff; one brother-in-law Fred Smith of Dexter, MO Six grandsons and one granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews. Family requests in lieu of flowers make memorials to Bay Springs Missionary Baptist Church
