Karen Steele

Karen Steele, 58, of Naylor died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, in New Madrid County, Missouri.

She was born Dec. 20, 1961 in Poplar Bluff to Loren Leon Murray and Wanda Lorne (VanKirk) Murray.  Her mother survives.

She was a homemaker and attended Westside Church of God.  She loved her horses and dogs.

She married Freddy Steele Sept. 12, 1987.  He survives.  Also surviving are son, Cole Lane Steele; brother, Jim Bausworth (Paula); brothers-in-law, Carl Steele Jr., and Randy Steele; sister-in-law, Regina Wrinkle; mother-in-law, Vera Steele; severall nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Loren Leon Murray; and her father-in-law, Carl Steele and niece Michelle Bausworth.

Visitation will be at 1:30 pm Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff followed by the graveside service at 3 pm at the City Cemetery with Rev. Leroy Murray officiating.

The funeral home now requires face coverings and temperatures taken upon entrance.
