Kathy Griffin

Kathy Griffin, 71, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was called home to be with the Lord Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She passed with her loved ones by her side. She was born August 21, 1945 to the late Clifford and Marie Rayfield. She retired from Newberry's after 20 years of service. She loved family gatherings, yard sales, flea markets, walking, and fishing. She was a wonderful warm strong loving woman who always put her family first. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 55 loving years, John F. Griffin; two sons, Dewayne Griffin and Jeffery (Sylvia) Griffin; granddaughter, Aiko Griffin, extended family member, Jewel Jasper; niece, Lisa (Bob) Keith and a sister, Shirley Smith as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Billy and Ronnie Rayfield; two sisters, Mary Jane Reed and her twin, Eileen Pitts. Visitation will be held at noon Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Shelvie Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley.
