Kelley Lyndell Elder

Kelley Lyndell Elder, 74, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away September 22, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 7, 1943 at Naylor, Missouri to the late Kelley L. Elders and Juanita S. Klotz Elder. On March 8, 1969 in Rockford, Illinois He was married to Bettie Lou Fann. She survives. Also surviving; one son, Matthew Lyndell Elder and one daughter; Elisabeth Jenny Thorburgh.one brother Don Elder and one sister, Vivian Cook as well as one grandchild, Julian Vincent Thornburgh. Mr.Elder was a member of the New home General Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, model trains and ham radio as well as his church where he served as Sunday school superintend. He had served his country in the United States Army from 1963 till 1966. He had worked for the United States Postal Service where he was a mail carrier. Visitation for Mr. Elder will Tuesday September 26, 2017 starting at 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m.at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Mo., with a graveside service at Gum Cemetery near Naylor.
