Kenneth Lee Barker

Kenneth Lee Barker, 70, of Springfield, Mo., died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri. He was born October 17, 1943 In Neelyville, Mo.. he servied in the United States Army. Mr. barke was a steel fabricator. He was well known for his fabrication work, making ornamental gates and putting things together. He is survived by a brother, David (Trudy) Barker of Hollister, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Ima Jean Barker of Neelyville, and Patsy Jones of Rector, Ark. and serveral nieces and nephews. Mr. Barker was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Dora Sherrill Barker; a sister, Viola Walker, and two brothers, Floyd and Eugene Barker. A memorial visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Missouri. There will be no service. Burial will be at Coon Island Cemetery.
