Kenneth G. Gray, 82 of Poplar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Gray was born June 12, 1930, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to the late John W. Gray and Mary Elizabeth Chatman-Gray. He was a member of Collins Chapel and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was a retired car dealer and had been an avid golfer in earlier years. He was a baseball fan and had been a Little League baseball coach.
On March 18, 1997, he was married to Louise (Ferguson) Gray in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She survives. He was previously married to Bettye Gray on March 31, 1950. She preceded him in death Sept. 28, 1993.
Also surviving are three children, Vicki Henderson (Jerry), John Gray, and Jill Allison, all of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Hershel Gray and Jimmy Gray; six grandchildren, Curt Henderson, Paul Henderson, Lauren Emerson(Corey), Hannah Allison, Brandon Allison, and Sydney Allison.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Frazier and two brothers, Robert Gray and Junior Gray.
Visitation will begin at 11a.m. Saturday August 25, 2012, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jim Cooper officiating. Burial will be in City Cemetery with full military honors.
