Larry Mccann

Larry McCann, 70, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on November 16, 2021 at his home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Larry was born on January 11, 1951 to William and Billie Sue (Thomas) McCann in Sikeston, Missouri.  He married Vickie Brown on April 14, 1979, in Millersville, MO.  She preceded him in death. Larry was a retired music teacher from Doniphan Elementary, as well as Temple Baptist Church as Music Director.  Both jobs he worked at for over 30 years.  He was an avid music writer and performer, as well as a St. Louis Cardinal fan. Larry is survived by son, Luke McCann, daughter, Mollie Hudson(Justin) grandchildren, Camren and Jovie Hudson, siblings, Patrick McCann (Deborah), David McCann (Shelly), sister, Susan Enkelmann(Tom) Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife Vickie McCann, and his parents. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 21st, 2021 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will be on Monday, November 22nd, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Temple Baptist Church 1813 Barron Rd. Poplar Bluff with Rev. Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will take place at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, Mo.  Approximate arrival time at the cemetery will be 1:30-2:15PM Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
