Lavedia Lorene Moran of Neelyville, Mo., died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.
Mrs. Moran was born June 9, 1938 in Harris Ridge, Mo. She was a Neelyville high School graduate and worked as a school bus driver for the Neelyville district as well as substitute teaching. She enjoyed coin collecting, gardening, flowers, and spending time with grandchildren.
On Oct. 11, 1979 she married Darold Moran in Corning, AR. He survives.
Also surviving is her children, Bryan Lee Emerson and wife Ginger of Naylor, Mo., Keith Moran and wife Brenda of St. Genevieve, Mo., Kevin Moran and wife Donna of Perryville, MI., Kim Rungie of Perryville, Debbie Emerson, of TX.; 3 sisters, Shirley Burson of Neelyville, Mo., Wilma Bush of Tucson, AZ., Melvatta Grimmett, of Rockford, IL.; 1 brother, Billy G. Alliston of Kansas City, Mo.; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was 1 son, Dendy Glenn Emerson; her parents, James Roy Alliston and Clara A. Towns; 1 sister, Neomi Booth; 2 brothers, Richard O. Alliston, Wyman G. Alliston, as well as 2 infant brothers.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel with Bro. Donnie Fowler officiating. Burial will be at Kinsey Cemetery in Harviell, Mo.
