Lawrence "Ray" Wagner

Lawrence "Ray" Wagner, 70, of Fairdealing, Missouri, passed away March 4, 2013, at the SouthEast Healthcare of Doniphan, Missouri. He was born September 13, 1943 at Neelyville, Mo. to the late Lawrence Wagner and Alta LeGrand Wagner. On December 7, 1963, at Poplar Bluff, Missouri , Ray was married to Wanda Cassinger. She survives. Also surviving, are his children, Traci Raye of Fairdealing, Mo., Vernon Wagner of Doniphan, Mo. and Larry Wagner and wife Kerri of Burfordville, Mo., one sister, Wilma St.Cin of Ariton, Alabama and one brother, Virgil Wagner of Neelyville, Mo. Four Grandchildren, Amy, Seth, Austin, and Joshua also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Laverne Wilson and Julia McBroom. He had worked in sawmill, carpentry, raising Blegian and Percheron horses and farming. He loved working, raising gardens and coon hunting. He served on the Dunning Cemetery Board of trustees. Visitation for Mr Wagner, will be Saturday March 8, 2014 starting at 6:00 pm in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Mo. with the funeral at 2:00 p.m. Sunday Mrch 9, 2014. Burial will be in the Coon Island Cemetery.
