Lester Edward Moore

Lester Edward Moore, 83, of Naylor, Mo., passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at his home. Mr. Moore was born on Aug. 18, 1932 in Holcomb, Mo. He worked as a farmer and a bus driver. His hobbies included farming, fishing and his grandchildren. On Aug. 30, 1955 he married Helen Ruth Thomason. She died on Nov. 22, 2009. He is survived by his 2 sons, Edward Moore & wife Ann of Naylor, Mo., Cairl Moore & wife Connie of Naylor, Mo.; 2 daughters, Dianne Powell & husband Rick of Oxly, Mo., Cricket Powell & husband Wayne of Oxly, Mo.; brother, Everett Moore of Marquette, Mich.; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Verna Canaday, Hazel Lango and Mary. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Mo. Funeral will be on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor Kevin Eudaley officiating. Burial will be at Gum Cemetery in Naylor, Mo.
