Linda Bosse

Linda (Foust) Bosse 81, of Poplar Bluff passed from this life at Cox Hospital in Springfield, Mo. on August 6, 2021, due to Covid. She was born in Poplar Bluff November 24, 1939, to Earnest & Georgia (Deckard) Foust. Linda loved her plants & flowers, especially roses. She enjoyed making floral arrangements for special events & holidays. Over the years, she made many beautiful craft items. She had worked at the Brown Shoe factory & a plastic factory prior to beginning a longtime career in nursing. Linda is survived by Gretta White, her “BELOVED” Sister of Poplar Bluff. Also surviving are her “Special” Niece, Fern McClure, of the home. Four sons were born to Linda. Two of her sons, Henry Hiles Jr., & George E. Hiles preceded her in death.  Surviving of Poplar Bluff are sons, Donald L. Hiles & Jim R. Champion, many nieces, nephews & grandchildren. In 1959, Linda married Henry L. Hiles Sr. & 30 some years later, married Gerome Bosse. Both have preceded her in passing, as have her parents Earnest & Georgia Foust. She was known & loved by many. She will be greatly missed! Visitation will be held Thursday August 12,2021 12:00 PM at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Black Creek Cemetery.
