Linda Larose Smith

Linda LaRose Smith, 68 of Poplar Bluff, Mo. passed away Wednesday July 19, 2017 at her residence. She was born on June 1, 1949 and was a lifelong resident of Poplar Bluff. On June 30,1973 she married Tilman Leroy Smith Jr. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2007. Mrs. Smith was a retired beautician She was a member of Calvary Community Church and a Girl Scout leader for many years. Mrs. Smith enjoyed time with her grandchildren, sewing, cooking and Cardinals baseball. Mrs. Smith is survived by her children; Stephanie Lynn Smith, Elizabeth Lee Ann Smith and Ashley Lynnette McDonald and four grandchildren; Curtis Ray Smith, Shawn, Conner and Rileigh McDonald. She was preceded in death by her parents; Owen Edwin and Marylee Bullock, grandparents; Jesse Lee and Gladys Hathoway and O.E. and Dollie Bullock. Visitation will be at noon Saturday July 22, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Shelvie Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
