Loren Smith

Loren Smith, 90, of Branson, Mo., formerly of Naylor, Mo., passed away July 16, 2014 in the Golden Living Center in Branson. Mr. Smith was born February 15, 1924, in Blodgett, Mo., to the late Henry and Hazel (Miller) Smith. In 1961 he married Alpha Smith in Corning, Ark. He worked in the sawmill and enjoyed woodworking and reading. He was a member of Naylor Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Smith also served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include his sons, James Smith (Pamela) of Doniphan, Mo. and David Smith (Stephanie) of Springfield, Mo.; one grandson, Curtis Smith (Raychelle) of Branson and three great-grandchildren, Adrian, Kristen and Alexis Smith. No services are planned at this time.
