Lottie Rice

Lottie Berniece Rice , 67, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Rice was born February 27, 1946 in Clinton Ill., to the late Terry Littleton and Lena (Hesserode) Farley. A homemaker, she enjoyed sewing, reading and shopping. She was of the Morman belief and a member of Rebecca's Red Hats. She was married to Clarence Gordon Rice. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Larry Rice and two daughters, Paula Overton and Barbara Smith; a sister, Anne King; brothers, Talmadge Farley and Terry Farley; her grandchildren, Crystal Pope, Brian Burns Jr. Ronin Rice, Dillon Rice, George Smith, Larry Smith and Paul Herrod as well as four great-grandchildren. One brother, Bill Parker, also preceded her in death. No services are planned at this time. Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff in charge of arrangements.
