Louis Crawford, age 73, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026. Born on March 3, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri. Louis lived a life devoted to faith, family, service, and love.

Louis was a proud veteran of the United States Army and faithfully served for many years as a minister in the Church of God ministry. He dedicated his life to spreading the Word of God, praying for others, and guiding countless people through his ministry. His love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of his life, and he touched many hearts through his compassion, wisdom, and unwavering faith.

Above all, Louis was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, mentor, brother, uncle and friend. He shared a beautiful and enduring love with his beloved wife, Deborah Marie Crawford, whom he adored deeply. Even after her passing, he spoke of her daily with love and admiration. Together, they built a life centered around faith and family and would have celebrated 55 years of marriage on June 8, 2026.

Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Marie Crawford; his sister, Colleen Crawford; his mother, Sylvia Crawford; and his father, Clarence Crawford.

He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his children, Louis Crawford, Jr. and Christina Crawford; his grandchildren, Patrick Crawford, Lantz Crawford, and Marie Cundiff; his great-grandchildren, Lukas Crawford, Trey Crawford, and Delilah Cundiff; and his brothers, Elijah Crawford, Alfred (Ruth) Ridley, Michael (Noritta) Hemmerlein and Wesley Ridley; one sister, Lisa Keith (Bob). He also leaves behind many extended family members, dear friends, and members of the Church of God community whose lives he deeply impacted.

Visitation services for family and friends will be held Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with immediate family gathering beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 12:00 noon, at Fowler- Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff. Burial will immediately follow at Qulin Cemetery, where Louis will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife with military honors.

Louis will be remembered for his steadfast faith, his service to his country, his dedication to ministry, and the unconditional love he gave to his family and all who knew him. His legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.
