Louis Jenkins

Louis Wayne Jenkins, 84, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on March 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Louis was born on November 9, 1936 to the late Dave and Elois (Harlow) Jenkins in Pontotoc, Mississippi.  He married Mary Gail (Gambrell) Jenkins on April 25, 1958, in Mississippi..

Louis was all about his faith, family, farming, firearms, his country, but most of all he loved being a PAPAW.

Louis is survived by his wife, Mary Gail Jenkins, 6 daughters, Lisa Tolbird & significant other Marko Trivundza, Gloria Middendorf, Nikkole Jenkins, Becky (Shawn) Compton, Monica (Tommy) Shepherd, Becky (Anthony) Colangelo, 3 sons Gary ( Susan Gene) Jenkins, Patrick Jenkins, Larry (Phyllis) Jenkins, 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild as well as one brother Jimmy (Diane) Jenkins, and a daughter in-law Sandy Jenkins.

Louis was preceded by his parents and sisters Norma Simmons, and Shirley Sewell.

Visitation will be held on Friday April, 2nd at 11:00am with memorial service to follow at 12 noon at the  Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO with Rowdy Boyer officiating.
