Loyd Edward Allen Dollins

Loyd Edward Allen "Brother" Dollins, 82, of Neelyville passed away Tuesday August 20, 2013, at His residence. He was born June 2, 1931 in Neelyville, Missouri to the late Sylvester "Ted" Dollins and Ruby Irene Crow Dollins. Loyd was a member of Coon Island Genral Baptise Church and was a farmer and worked in a sawmill. He served on the Hvam Cemetery Board and dug graves over the years. He enjoyed visiting friends and family. On June 17, 1950, he married Martha Agnes Hancock in Piggott, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on June 22, 2004. Survivors include, three sons, Lonnie Dollins and wife, Shelia, of Cleveland, Texas, Michael Dollins and wife Regina, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Eugene Dollins, and wife Cindy of Neelyville; three daughters, Lila Miller and husband, George of Huffman, Texas, Lela Dollins of Neelyville, Missouri and Lisa Barriner of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; four sisters, Mildred Mize of Doniphan, Mo. Linda Layton of Naylor, Mo. and Patsy Knowlton and Teresa Cassinger both of Neelyville, Mo. three brothers, Charles Dollins and Jerry Dollins, both of Neelyville, Mo., and Doyle "Buck" Dollins of Pollard, Arkansas; 15, grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Loyd was preceded in death by two daughters, Janey Irene Dollins and Sandra Regina Dollins and two sisters, Deloris "Sissy" Dollins and Margine Winder; two brothers Delmar Dollins and Leo Dollins and his parents. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday August 23, 2012 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel on Neelville, Mo.. The funeral will be Saturday August 24, 2013 starting at 11:00 am in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville. Burial will be in the Hvam Cemetery in Neelyville with Rev. Allen Leuter officiating.
