Mae Margie Timmons, 80, died September 10, 2014 at The Cedargate in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Mrs. Timmons was born August 19, 1934 in Hoxie Arkansas. She had been a dietary cook in a hospital and enjoyed reading, going on drives and being with her grandchildren. She was a member of New Home General Baptist Church.
She married Denver Timmons who preceded her in death in 1998.
Survivors include her children, Patsy Ezell and husband, Jerry, Mary Nance and husband, Irvin, and Bobby Joe Miller and wife, Jean; sisters, Mary Parker and Maggie Ramo and husband, Harold; brothers Lloyd Bruce and Vernon Bruce and wife, Shirley, a brother-in-law Jasper Hyde; grandchildren, Dewayne Miller and wife, Susan, Steven Miller and wife, Gina, Joshua Miller and wife, Shannon, Paula Birdsong and husband, Allen, Ervin Nance and wife, Jlynn, Connie Clements and husband, Eric, Kristie Orchard and husband, Richard, Bryan Dorris, Darrell White and wife, Jennifer and Bradley White; great-grandchildren Triston, Breanna, Trevor, Emma, Ethan, and Savana Miller, Hayle, Logan, Cade, Kylie Birdsong, Lincoln Nance, Carson Rolland, Sean White, Cody, Jacob, Shelby Orchard, Brandin, Nick, Eli, Cade, Kaleigh Dorris. Many nieces and nephews and a host of friends, also survive.
Mrs. Timmons was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Ruth Bruce; one son, James Allen Miller; sisters, Francis Draper, Gladys Hyde, and Carolyn Bruce; brothers, James, Lee, Lester and Chester Bruce.
Visitation will begin at 6pm Friday, September 12, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Funeral service at 2pm Saturday September 13, 2014, with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating. Burial in Coon Island Cemetery.
