Malcolm Ortego Iii

Malcolm Ortego III, 46 of Poplar Bluff, died Friday May 13, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 4, 1965 in New Orleans, LA There will be a graveside memorial service Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff at 3PM with the Rev. Keith Fry officiating. Malcolm had formerly lived in New Orleans, LA but rode a bus to Poplar Bluff in 2006 after Hurricane Katrina. He attended Central Missioanary Baptist Church while he lived here. He had been a hotel manager for Marriot Corporation. He enjoyed bingo, books, history and astronomy. He is survived by his father Malcolm Ortego Jr. of Del Platt LA and a brother William Bryan Ortego of Poplar Bluff; nephews Bryan Ortego, Ryan Ortego, and Joshua Ortego and a niece Lyta Ortego He was preceded in death by his mother; Esther "Clark" Ortego
