Marcella Mcmurtry Morgan

Marcella Morgan 89, passed away June 10, 2013 at he residence in Naylor, Mo.. She was born May 5, 1924 at Parma, Missouri to the late Robert Russell and Polly Fortner Russell. In July 25, 1955 she was married to Cecil McMurtry. He preceded her in death march 3, 1972. Then on July 14, 1980 at Doniphan, Mo. she was married to Thomas J. Morgan Jr. and he preceded her on August 10, 2005. Marcella is survived by her children Robert Hudson and wife Joyce of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Leon Hudson and wife Lee of Naylor, Mo., Ronnie Hudson of Pocahontas, Arkansas, John Hudson and wife Kay of Doniphan, Missouri, Carl McMurtry and wife Lynn of St.Charles, Missouri, Brenda Taylor and husband Kenny of Rockfield, Kentucky and Omahala Snelson and fiance Euell Hatley of Doniphan, Missouri. Also surviving are her sister, Flossie Smith of Flint, Michigan and 24 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren as well as 19 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death her parents, husbands, Sons, Dennis Hudson, William McMurtry and Stanley Hudson as well as 2 infant children. Also one sister Edith Greager and three brothers Crocket Russell, Bud James Russell and Clarence Russell. Marcella was a member of the Naylor Church of Christ and a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and her grandchildren and visiting the nursing home. She was a life long resident of this area and will missed by her family and friends. Visitation for Marcella will be Thursday June 13, 2013 after 6pm with the funeral Friday June 14, 2013 starting at 11:00 am both in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Gum Cemetery near Naylor, Missouri. Rick Holden officiating.
