Margaret Gunter

Margaret Gunter, 92, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on July 08, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Margaret was born on January 11, 1930 to the late William and Hazel (Newton) Howe in Woodriver, Illinois.  She married  Cecil Herbert Gunter on July 23, 1949. He preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 2021 Margaret worked with her husband in the Gunter Sinclair and Gunter Appliance Repair until their retirement. Margaret is survived by her children, Cecil E Gunter and wife Sarah,  Joyce L.Comer and husband Lamont, Grandson Cecil Gunter and wife Angie, Grandson John Gunter and Lisa Modzelewski, Grandson Scott Gunter and wife Joanne, Granddaughter Kayleigh Abner and husband Timmy, Great-granddaughter Taylor Earwood and husband Christian, Great- granddaughter Madison Gunter, Great-grandson Colin Gunter,  Great-great-granddaughter Zhoey Abner, Great-great-grandson Brycen Abner, Great-great granddaughter Riley Earwood, one niece and one nephew. Margaret was preceded by her parents and husband. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July13th, 2022, from 11 am -12 pm, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Graveside service will be held at 1 pm, on July 13th, in the Joplin New Hope Cemetery.
