Margaret Shoumake

Margaret Elizabeth Shoumake, 84, of DeSoto, MO formerly of Poplar Bluff passed away on May 19, 2022, at her home in DeSoto, Missouri. Margaret was born on January 12, 1938, to the late Carl and Vivian (Pruitt) Minehart in Lavalle, Missouri.  She married Sidney Shoumake on August 5, 1955, in Hernando MS. he preceded in death in 2016. Margaret was a devoted member of Southside Assembly of God in Poplar Bluff. She had worked as a bank manager. Margaret is survived by sons, Ken Shoumake (Marilyn), Roger Shoumake, Ricky Shoumake (Gloria),  Rowdy Shoumake (Holly).grandchildren: Zachary, Russell,  Richard, Rachel, Tyler  Ashley, numerous, great-grandchildren, a brother, Carl Minehart. Margaret was preceded by Husband, Sidney, her parents, siblings; Thelma, Veda Hershel, Melba,Mildred, Gayle, Cecil, Bethel. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 23rd, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home with  Rev.Jerry Lemons officiating. Burial will take place in the Black Creek Cemetery
