Margie Tubb

Margie Louise Tubb, 90, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Tubb was born September 14, 1924 in Leeper, Mo., to the late Walter and Gertrude Albertson. She attended Oak Grove New Beginning Church and the Cowboy Church. She had worked at Florsheim Shoe Company. She enjoyed fishing, shopping, eating out and going on picnics. On April 30, 1977 she married George Tubb. He preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, Ronnie Ray and wife, Ellen, step-children, Everett Tubb, Howard Tubb, Denis Tubb and Linda Osborn; two sisters, Nora Brown and Sharon Moore; brother, Bobby Albertson; one granddaughter, Michelle Howard; three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Abigail and Sheldon Howard. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one sister, Mary Ray and three brothers, Carrell Albertson and James Albertson and John Albertson , who passed away March 5, 2015 and three brothers-in-law, Jimmy Moore, Leonard Brown and Virgil Ray. Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, in the funeral home chapel, with Ron Fowler officiating. Burial will be in the Cochran Cemetery.
