Marie Ledbetter

Marie Ledbetter, 83, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday, May 26, 2014, at the Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Ledbetter was born October 10, 1930 in Hayti, Mo. She had driven a bus for SMTS and previously for the Carter County Sheltered Workshop. She was married to Byron Vaughn Ledbetter. He survives. Also surviving is a son, Greg Smith and 4 step- children, Vernon Ledbetter, Bobby Smith, David Smith and Judy Jones; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Route 2 Box 2682, Ellsinore, Mo. Call 573-300-0420 for directions.
