Martha Allison Blagg, 74 ,of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away September 9, 2011 in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born January 1, 1937 in Boston, Mass. to the late Albert Peter Kawal and Almyra Wilcox Kawal. On January 27, 1961 at San Diego, California she was married to Walter Clay Blagg. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1999.
Martha is survived by Her children, Kale Blagg of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Almyra Torres of Olney, Texas. Grandchildren,Angel Torres Amanda "Pistol" Thomas and Heaven Leigh Thomas.
She was a school teacher, and had taught in the Neelyville School System where she retired after 19 years. She was a member of MSTA and a member of the retired teacher association of Missouri. She was a life time member of the J.A. Ashby VFW Post 3485 Auxiliary in Doniphan as well as American Legion Brown-Mabry Post 153 Auxiliary in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was a member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Visitation for Mrs Blagg will begin at 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday Night September 13, 2011 at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Missouri. Funeral will be Wednesday September 14, at 1:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel with burial following services in the Kinsey Cemetery near Harviell, Missouri. Donnie Fowler Officiating.
