Mary Alice Bilbrey, 85, of Poplar Bluff passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Black River Medical Center. She was born December 1, 1931 in Hendrickson, MO to the late Milburn and Millie (Johnson) Alford.
She worked at H. W. Gossard Factory for forty-two years. She enjoyed crocheting, watching St. Louis Cardinal baseball and game shows. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and great- great-granddaughter.
On March 26, 1955 she married Dean Bilbrey in Hernando, MS. He preceded her in death July 9, 2016. Together they shared sixty one years of marriage.
Surviving are children: Teresa Phelps, Deanise(Allen) Barker, Bobbi (Doug) Hon and Tim Bilbrey; grandchildren: Charlie (Taylor) Barker, Justin Barker, Dylan Barker, Bucky (Amanda) Hon, Shannon (Matthew) Sparks, Charles Hon, Michael Hon and Mary (Vernon) Davidson; great-grandchildren: CJ Hon, Tanis Sparks, Rylee Sparks, Porter Hon and Quentin Hon; great-great-granddaughter: Lucy Hon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean, brothers; James, Earl, Milburn, Walter and Gene Alford and Son-in-law Basil Phelps.
Visitation will be 11-12:30 Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. There is a GRAVESIDE funeral immediately following at 1pm in Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with Pastor Scott Sifford officiating.
