Mary Kay Hale, 85, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on March 17, 2025, at Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Kay was born on August 8, 1939, to Benson and Blanche (Stinnet) Britton in Villa Ridge, Illinois. Kay was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. She was a very outgoing and made friends easily. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling and spending time with her family at Clearwater Lake. Kay is survived by son, Dale Prim and wife Dawn; grandchildren; Todd Daves and wife Jessica, Derek Prim and Amy, Daniel Daves and wife Krystle, Stephanie Underhill and husband Willis, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, brother; Irvin Britton and wife Pat, son-in-law, Randy Daves, and special family friend; Wendy Poole Long. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, first husband; Harold Prim, second husband; James Hale, daughter; Mary Ellen Daves and sister Shirley Johnson. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 20 from 11am - 1pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff, Mo 63901 Funeral services will begin at 1pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
