Mary Cross

Mary E. Cross, 94, of Poplar Bluff, MO went home to heaven on February 16, 2025, from Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Mary was born on December 9, 1930, to Ollie and Curtis Board.  She married Delmer Cross on January 17, 1948. Mary was energetic and worked until she was 80 years old.  She loved her family and many friends passionately. Mary is survived by children, Sheri Smith and David Cross, grandchildren, Steven Wilson, Brandi Wilson, Stephanie Cross, Jason Cross and Jeremiah Cross, 7 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, siblings, Bill Board, Shirley Leslie, Danny Board, and Jack Board. Mary was preceded in death by Husband, Delmer Cross, sons, Bill Cross and Jim Cross, 1 grandchild, Chris Cross, sisters, Dorothy Ham and Barbara Leitke, brothers, Junior Board, Pat Board, Bud Board, James Board, Lewis Board and Bob Board, and her parents, Ollie and Curtis Board. Visitation will be held on February 25, 2025, from 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will be on February 25, 2025, at 1:00 P.M.  Burial will take place at Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk at 2:00.
