Mary Esther Hays

Mary Esther Diggs- Hays, 76, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on September 12, 2025, at her home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Mary was born on October 15, 1948, to Millard Diggs and Alice Luniford  in Birch Tree, Missouri.

Mary enjoyed being with her family She also enjoyed watching movies, mainly Fast and Furious and John Wayne.

Mary is survived by son, Michael Diggs, her honey baby, daughter, Christina Waggoner, her baby/papoos and (Charles); grandchildren, Danielle E. M. Waggoner, her angel baby, Charles L. Waggoner, her knight in shining armor and (Reyna Rose); and brother David Diggs.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Barbara Parks, George Diggs, Catherine Carey, Romina Younger, Hazel Jenkins, and Joe Ray Diggs.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17th from 12pm -1 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine Street Poplar Bluff.

Funeral services will begin at 1pm in the chapel. Burial will take place at City Cemetery.
