Mary Esther Hays

Mary Esther Diggs- Hays, 76, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on September 12, 2025, at her home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Mary was born on October 15, 1948, to Milard and Alice (Brewer) in Birch Tree, Missouri.

Mary enjoyed her family.

Mary is survived by son, Michael Diggs, daughter, Christina Waggoner (Charles); grandchildren, Danielle E. M. Waggoner, Charles L. Waggoner (Reyna Rose); and brother David Diggs.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Barbara Parks, George Diggs, Catherine Carey, Romina Younger, Hazel Jenkins, and Joe Ray Diggs.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17th from 12pm -1 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine Street Poplar Bluff.

Funeral services will begin at 1pm in the chapel. Burial will take place at City Cemetery.
