Mary Hollis

Mary Hollis, 92 of Poplar Bluff entered her heavenly home May 6, 2020 at Cedargate Healthcare Facility.

Mrs. Hollis was born July 4, 1927 in Portageville, MO to the late Elijah Morris Sr and Luncinda Hackney Morris.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, crafts, baking, flowers, canning and her church family.

She was married to Rise Hollis Sr.  They enjoyed 65 years of marriage he preceded her in death.

Surviving are children; Ruther Anderson (Charles), Andrew Hollis, Dennis Hollis (Emma), grandchildren; Laron Hollis, Churisse Hollis, Maurice Reed, Dante Hollis, Karmel Hollis; 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hollis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, children; Rise Hollis Jr., Churise Reed Hollis, Ray and James Hollis and a brother Elijah Morris Jr.

Visitation will begin 10 am Friday, May 8th, 2020 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, Mo.  The family requests that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that you please just walk through and leave.   Burial will take place privately at City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
