Mary Mae Johnson. 83, passed away March 16, 2013 in the Current River Nursing Center at Doniphan, Missouri. She was born August 17, 1929 at Ponder, Missouri to the late Weid Leslie Urich and Elsie Taylor Urich. In 1943 she was married to Odell Johnson at Corning, Arkansas. He survivies. Also surviving her children, Freddie Johnson and wife Linda Kay of Fairdealing, Mo., Lester Johnson and wife Michele of Fairdealing, Mo., Kay Diller and husband Cliff of Darden, Tennessee, David Johnson and wife Kay of Doniphan, Mo., Carl Johnson and wife Robin of Fairdealing, Mo., Linda Jefferson and husband Tom of Doniphan, Mo., Ruth Ann Dixon and husband James of Casper, Wyo.. Two sisters also survive, Wilma Gregg of Oklahoma and Euleta McCarty of Bentonville, Ark. one brother Bennie Urich of Fairdealing. 23 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Allen Johnson, Her parents as well as one sister, Verneal Huling and Two brothers, Leslie and Carter Urich. She was a member of the West Point Point Pentecostal Church of Doniphan, Mo. and had worked as a nurses aid at the nursing center in Corning, Arkansas. She enjoyed Visiting nursing homes, singing and playing her guitar, yard sales, fishing, and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday March 19, 2013 starting at 1:00 p.m. in the West Point Pentecostal Church in Doniphan, Mo. with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the church. burial will be in the Gum Cemetery with REv Charles Carr officiating assisted by Rev. James Dixon.
