Mary Weisbrod

Mary Weisbrod, 79, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at The Cedargate Nursing Facility. She was born August 23, 1935 in Neelyville, Mo. She was of the Pentecostal faith and worked as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed hidden word search and travel. Her husband, Walter Weisbrod preceded her in death. She is survived by four daughters, Jacqueline Schiffbauer (William), Maggie Zornes (Dave), Marilyn Severin and Deborah Waite; two brothers, Russell and Larry Bookout; six grandchildren, William Hastings, Larry Chapman Jr., Serena Kinncade, David Heedeen, Ashley Horton, and Sean Zornes; six great-grandchildren, Kyra, Larridy and Shelby Chapman, Kortney Hastings, Evianah and Jenny Kinncade; as well as two great-grandchildren, Noah and Braden Sydney. Also preceding her in death include her father, Quincy Bookout and mother, Eva Joe Gimlin; sons, Richard and Michael Weisbrod; and brother, Kenny Bookout. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by funeral service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Ted Elledge will officiate. Burial will be in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
