Maurice Eugene Moss

Maurice Eugene Moss, 82, of Mill Spring, Mo., passed away Monday, January 12, 2016, in Jonesboro, Ark. Mr. Moss was born December 11, 1933, in Mill Spring, to the late Clarence and Kathryn Moss. He was a Jehovah Witness and loved ministry work. He was a distributor for Rainbow Vacuum Co. He enjoyed fishing, and loved being with his family and wife. On December 15, 1951 he married Hilda June Moss. She preceded him in death May 29, 2015. Survivors include his children, Dale Moss, Janet Bradley, Sandra Brookreson, and Mary Bey; two sisters, Mary Lou McDonald and Shirley Wright; one brother, Bernie Moss; 8 grandchildren, Andrea, Alesia, Andy, Allison, King, Jennifer, Doug and Dale, as well as 10 great-grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by 5 brothers, Bill, Ronald, Jack, Wayne, and Jerry Moss and grandson, Joey. A memorial visitation will be held at 12 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m., in the chapel, with Jim Thompson officiating.
