Maxine L. LeCroy, 71 of Naylor, Missouri passed away August 12, 2011 in St.Louis, Missouri. She was born May 25, 1940 in Qulin, Missouri to Rawleigh and Mamie Parks Mathis. On April 27, 1973 at Cahokia, Illinois she was married to Jess LeCroy. He survives. Also surviving are Nieta Howdeshell of Naylor , Mo., Tim Blakeney of Batesville, Arkansas, Keith LeCroy of Neelyville, Mo., Timmy LeCroy of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Susie Stephens of Bernie, Missouri. Sister, Donna McDougal of Fisk, Missouri and Two Brothers Larry Mathis of Nashville, Tennessee and Terry Mathis of Fisk, Missouri also survive. Twelve Grandchildren and 14 great Grandchildren survive also. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one sister Doris Radford. She was a member of the Doniphan Church of Christ and had taught Sunday School Classes, vacation Bible School, and preparing Sunday Dinners at the church and helping family in need. She was a homemaker and had worked in the business with her husband Jess at Maytag Home appliance center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. and she enjoyed gardening, quilting, her grandchildren and her dog Bozo. Visitation will be Monday night beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Sullivan memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Mo. with the funeral Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with burial in the Ash Hill Cemetery near Fisk. Steve Sanders will officiate.
